To arrive in Prince Edward County is to cross the water.  We are an island, after all.  If you’re taking the Loyalist Parkway from the East you’ll pull right up onto the Glenora Ferry and make your way to the County.  Above your head lies the mysterious Lake On the Mountain. Perched atop a large hill and with no discernible source for it’s fresh water, it’s a provincial park and a great spot for a picnic or a paddle (and a pizza).
